Firstly, if anyone at this wedding could help me out by confirming whether there was a guest dressed as a giraffe? If not, then I was having one hell of a flashback!
I don't think think these two could have been more relaxed anywhere else other than The Giraffe Shed. A proper DIY wedding venue stunner. Klare and Russ' wedding was exactly the sort of day I love photographing - informal, chilled, personal, with cheese piled high and chutney jars clanging together from the vibrations of the dance floor. It was like Glastonbury Festivel meets M&S Food Roadshow!
The Giraffe Shed makes B&Q look inadequate! It makes creatives pee with joy! Calling it a blank canvas would be a massive insult of FUBAR proportions! The Shed's canvas is so gorgeous you could slap a roll-out plastic wipe -clean mat out and it would still look cool! However, Klare, Russ and Team Giraffe made sure to create a space that was classy and rustic, with loads of little details that made the whole place feel unmistakably theirs - and that includes you,Bob Mortimer! And it's set amongst bloody Welsh valley views and friggin meadows!
Klare and Russ, two of the loveliest people you could meet. No need for grandeur, no need to make their wedding day anything other than a bloody great time with their favourite people... eating Boursin, imbibing booze and boogieing!
